Projects and tasks

Skrum is the all-in-one AI project control plane — team chat, tasks and sprints, native video meetings, and inbound code activity in one workspace, with every AI action waiting for a human yes.

A project is the container everything else scopes to. Every project has a short key (e.g. WEB, MOBILE, OPS) and tasks are numbered KEY-N — the reference is stable, sharable, and links across chat, code, and AI.

Create a project. Projects page → New project. Pick a name and a two-to-six letter key. That is all you need — the project appears with a default board.
Add a task. From any board column, press "+" and type the title. Enter submits. Details (assignee, labels, due date) inline-edit on the row.
Reference tasks. Type KEY-123 in chat, in a git commit, or in an AI meeting summary — Skrum links it automatically. See Kanban and sprints for board mechanics.

FAQ

Can I rename a key? No — task references would break. Archive and recreate if you must change it.
Is there a per-workspace task ceiling? No. The cap is on projects (see Plans, limits, and credits).
